Hiking in the "KARWENDEL ALPINE PARK"
Area 730 sq. km, largest nature conservation area of the Tyrol.
The Rum hiking region in the area of the Karwendel alpine park nature conservation area has around 75 km of the best cared for and well signposted hiking trails to offer, and was first awarded the Tyrolean Certificate for Quality Mountain Trails back in 1999.
In addition, the Goethe-Panorama trail received the title of - Special - Award for Mountain Trails – due to its particularly special natural beauty and its exemplary arrangement, care, and markings.
Mountainbiking and cycling:
For variety and fun – Cycle tours around Innsbruck, the capital of the Alps.
Both beginners and professionals have access to 115km of mountain bike routes at altitudes of between 600 and 2,250m.
Families and older people, on the other hand, love the cycleways that run on either side of the River Inn.
