A bathing lake for leisure and relaxation on the edge of town
Badesee Rossau is affectionately known to the inhabitants of Innsbruck as the Baggersee (a man-made, dredged lake), and it is now a summer meeting place for sun worshippers, trendy sportsmen and families – there's something for everyone here.

Facilities:

  • 36,000 sq.m bathing lake, 53,000 sq.m grassed leisure area, non-swimmers' zones, jetty and island 
  • Large children's playground with swings, slides and Indian camp, water play mound with stream, mini-waterslide, mother-and-child area

INDOOR POOL / SAUNA / Adventure Oasis

The new Adventure Oasis in the Olympic Village, operated by the municipal body, Innsbrucker Kommunalbetriebe, opened after trial period in December 2008. The Olympic Village Indoor pool, converted after seven months of building work into a leisure and family pool, now has a bright, new look and also many new attractions:
 

  • The Black Hole slide is 108m long and equipped with a wide variety of new features, e.g. strobe lighting effects, firewall and waterfall.
  • New main pool in a stainless steel finish
  • New all-year-round, open-air pool
  • New toddlers' pool
  • New glazed annex
